American Management Association China’s head office is located in Shanghai with additional offices in Bejing and Guangzhou. It is the first international institute engaged in providing professional training and consulting services for enterprises and individuals in China. Since it’s establishment in 1996, AMA China has introduced a variety of programs and developed them into products and services specifically geared to the Chinese market. These programs include topics on strategy, management, marketing, sales, HR development and training, finance, executive administration, and personal development.

Peter Kao, CEO of AMA China, spent fifteen years with IBM in a variety of sales and marketing roles. In 1995, he was appointed Director of IBM Asia Pacific Core Banking Segment. Peter joined the IMIC Group in 1992 as Executive Vice President and subsequently founded and leads Asia Pacific Management Inc. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the Taiwan Qsing Hua University in Materials Science and an MBA from Taiwan University of Politics.
